Search the relevant documentation first:

When Contacting Support

Please provide the following information:

  • Your name and contact email (university address preferred)
  • Your username at the cluster (including prefix, e.g. fr_)
  • Which cluster the question concerns
  • When did the problem occur (date, time) and where (node, login node, etc.)

Both English and German are accepted. For the central ticket system, English is preferred.

Users from Freiburg

Use your university email address as your "preferred" address. You can set this in myAccount. This address is used within the bwHPC systems.

Training and Courses

The bwHPC initiative offers training for beginners and advanced users:

  • bwHPC eLearning — online courses on Linux basics, cluster usage and job submission
  • bwHPC Courses — instructor-led courses throughout Baden-Württemberg
