bwHPC Entitlements
An entitlement is a legal prerequisite for using bwHPC clusters. It confirms to the cluster operator that your computing activities comply with German foreign trade law (AWG/AWV). The entitlement is linked to your university account.
Which entitlement do I need?
- bwForCluster entitlement — required for registration on NEMO 2, Helix, BinAC 2 and JUSTUS 2
- bwUniCluster entitlement — required for registration on bwUniCluster 3.0
You will normally receive both within two working days. After approval, synchronisation across sites can take up to 24 additional hours.
Check existing entitlements
Visit login.bwidm.de, select the Shibboleth tab, and check whether urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.7 contains http://bwidm.de/entitlement/bwUniCluster and/or http://bwidm.de/entitlement/bwForCluster.
